I have, over the years, been involved in many different projects — some not directly related to my work as a music producer and recording studio owner, and others where the studio has been the turnkey. Here are some examples of projects I’m particularly proud of.
Syddansk Folkemusik Talentskole
Back in 2010, I raised funds to launch a special music school project for young people with a strong interest in folk music. With financial support from the Danish Arts Foundation and hosted at the Danish National Academy of Music, the project continues to nurture many talented young musicians who go on to have professional careers. I’m proud and grateful to teach, write music for, and lead the school.

Davinde Festival & Davinde Beboer- og Forsamlingshus
For years, I’ve been a member of the board at Davinde Beboer- og Forsamlingshus — a community house in the small village of Davinde, where I live with my family.
From 2019 to 2024, we created Davinde Festival — a unique, small-scale festival celebrating good people, music, art, food, nature, and community. I’m proud to have been part of the volunteer organiser team and to have served as the festival’s music curator.

In 2022, I was booked by artist and musician Tine Louise Kortermann to be the music producer, arranger, and musician for the “hiking podcast” project Carl Nielsens Camino.
The trail is a 120 km route on the island of Funen, where composer Carl Nielsen was born and spent his childhood. We follow in the footsteps of Carl and his father, Niels Maler, who once walked from village to village playing music for dances and parties.
For the project, we re-arranged 34 of Nielsen’s songs, performed by Danish musicians and artists. We also recorded large parts of Nielsen’s book “Min Fynske Barndom” (My Funen Childhood) and many of his letters to his wife, sculptor Anne Marie Brodersen.
This was a huge project with countless layers and details. I encourage you to begin your Carl Nielsen journey through the project’s website, hiking app, and digital music release, which features 14 songs from the Camino.
In the summer of 2014, Kulturbox 2014 (Culturebox 2014) hit the road. Two old phone boxes were mounted on trailers, each containing a custom-built multimedia player running on solar power.
Inside, visitors could experience 14 newly produced songs and music videos, all recorded at The Farm Music Studiowith local Funen artists — often a vibrant mix of classical, folk, jazz, and rock.
Throughout the summer, Kulturbox travelled around the island of Funen, bringing music, art, and community to unexpected places.
The project was sponsored by the culture region of Funen.
